I. Before You Begin:
1. Back up anything you think is important on the device before you start.
2. Charge the device to 75% or more before you begin.
3. Make sure that you are running Firmware Version 10.1.1.A.1.317 (on models C5502, C5503 and M35h); do not try this on any other Firmware version as you may end up bricking your device!
4. This procedure should work on both locked and unlocked Bootloader.

III. Rooting the Sony Xperia ZR:
1. Enable USB Debugging on your device. To do this, go to Settings > Development and tick the USB debugging checkbox.
2. Enable installation of apps from unknown sources. To do this, go to Settings > Security and tick the Unknown sources checkbox.
3. Connect your device to your Windows PC using a Compatible microUSB cable. If there are any drivers installed at this point, let them do so before you continue.
4. Extract the DooMLoRD_Easy-Rooting-Toolkit_v17_perf-event-exploit.zip file you downloaded above to a Folder on your desktop.
5. From the extracted folder, double-click on runme_win.bat to begin the rooting procedure.
6. Once you have followed Steps #1 & 2 of this section, press any key to further the procedure. The rooting procedure should now start.
