How to Root/Unroot Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro (GT-I8552):


                                      

The Galaxy Grand Quattro has a similar design as the other recent Galaxy phones with curved corners and chrome finish all around. It runs on the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. This is the first device from Samsung to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 200 8625Q processor.


                                             

Samsung announced the Galaxy Grand Win (GT-I8550) and Win Duos (GT-I8552) back in April. It was launched in India in as Galaxy Grand Quattro last month. It is very nice Phone and has nice Curved Finish body but Samsung Galaxy Quattro is Nothing Less a complete Package.


                                                 


To root and unroot the phone, follow the instructions:

1. Download Framaroot 1.4.1 (download here)
2. Install Framaroot on your GT-I8552
3. Before doing anything else make sure that USB debugging is ON or do it from setting-> Developer options-> USB Debugging.
4. Now you need to open Framaroot. Select action to execute after root as Install superuser or Install SU
5.  In the last step, select an exploit in list above to potentially root your device as GANDALF, now wait for few seconds. it will pop up that “Success.. superuser and su binary installed”. You have to reboot the device.
6. Reboot the phone.

                                               

How to Unroot the phone:

1. Open Framaroot
2. Select an action to execute after root as “UNROOT”
3. Select an exploit in the list above to potentially root your Device as “GANDALF” Now wait for the pop up “”"Unroot done!”"”…
Thats it ..You have successfully unrooted you GT-I8552

  1. Its actually 8 gb ony. Usable is 5 gb

    1. On Box of your phone or on Specification Detail you have noticed that 8 GB is written but actually its 5 GB available as around 3 GB of memory is reserved for you OS and rest your phone built in apps.
      Hope this will clear you Doubts.
