How to Root XOLO Q600

How to Root XOLO Q600:

                            


The Xolo Q600 comes with MT6589M processor clocked at 1.2GHz with 4.5 inch screen of FWVGA resolution running Android 4.2 OS. This is low budget quad core handset with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage.


                                        



Things to be done Before Starting the Rooting Process:

1. XOLO Q600 with 50% charged battery.

2. USB cable for connecting with PC or Laptop.

3. Auto Root Tool (Download It)

4. Android MTK6589 Drivers (Download & Install it if you don't have)

                                               



Procedure to Rooting XOLO Q600 :

Step 1 : Enable USB debugging on your xolo q600. (Go to settings > developer options > enable USB debugging)

Step 2 : Install drivers and then Connect your phone to PC or Laptop.

Step 3 : Extract the auto root tool which you downloaded from requirement section, anywhere in your PC or Laptop.

Step 4 : In the extracted folder there is a file "Run me.bat" open this file.

Step 5 : Press any key and wait for some time it will boot your phone.

Step 6 : After it finished, Reboot your xolo q600.

Congrats ! Now your phone is now rooted properly, now you can get all the root access in your Xolo Q600.

    1. If you want to Backup your data you need to install XOLO Secure from app store, it will secure your all kinda data and after rooting you can get that data by installing the app again. Hope it works :)

  5. i have rooted my phone before. and i deleted all the useless built-in apps. but after the reset factory was done i have lost my rooting. and while rooting its showing "system/bin/sh:rm: not found " its the problem. what to do? please help me...

    1. As you know rooting is kind off setting your phone free from all the barriers but the problem is if you not un-root your phone before putting it back to factory settings, you will face problems.
      To solve this first you have to make sure you have created back up of all your files. then you have to delete all the root packages and software and files related to it. then you can factory reset your phone. (note: make sure your doing hard reset)
